Kimco Realty Corp. (NYSE: KIM) is a real estate investment trust (REIT) headquartered in Jericho, N.Y., that is one of North America's largest publicly traded owners and operators of open-air shopping centers. As of September 30, 2019, the company owned interests in 420 U.S. shopping centers comprising 74 million square feet of leasable space primarily concentrated in the top major metropolitan markets.

The Kimco Realty Corporation Dividend Reinvestment and Direct Stock Purchase Plan ("DRIP") provides a convenient, affordable method for all investors to acquire Kimco common stock and for existing shareholders to increase their holdings of our common stock.

Highlights of our DRIP Plan:
  • Initial Investment / Enrollment: If you are not currently a shareowner, you can make an initial investment in our common stock, starting with as little as $100.

  • Purchase / Optional cash investments: You can increase your holdings of our common stock through optional cash investments of $50 or more. You can make optional cash investments by check, one-time electronic funds withdrawal from your bank account, or by authorizing monthly deductions from your bank checking or savings account. You may invest up to $20,000 per month through the plan.

  • Automatic dividend reinvestment: You can also increase your holdings of our common stock and enjoy the power of compound returns by automatically reinvesting your cash dividends. You can elect to reinvest all or a percentage of your dividends.

  • Automated transactions: You can execute many of your plan transactions online or by phone if you establish automated privileges with an authentication ID number.

  • Share safekeeping: You can deposit your common stock certificates for safekeeping with the plan administrator.

  • Fees: There is a one-time enrollment fee for new investors. There is no enrollment fee for current registered owners transferring shares into the plan. Investors pay commissions on stock purchases, other than a reinvestment of dividends, for purchases made in the open market.
